DIY ASTRINGENTS

Astringents renew and tone the skin. They also help close the pores, reduce oil, and reduce a tired appearance.
Sage lotion - Sage also has antiseptic and astringent properties. Apply sage infusion to the skin using a cotton ball.
Witch hazel - It is an excellent astringent. Apply to the face with a cotton ball.
Cucumber – This is another excellent astringent. Just slice a cold cucumber and put the slices all over your face. Lie down and relax.
lemon astringentLemon astringent – Lemon is the best astringent. Mix the juice of 1/2 a lemon with a little water. Apply with a cotton ball and let it work for 30 minutes. Wash the face with cold water. This lotion can also be used by men as an after-shave since it protects and desinfects the skin.
Raspberry leaf tea – Improves tissue firmness
Apple cider vinegar: Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water. Rinse your face morning and evening using this solution as a natural astringent.
Lemon essential oil: Dilute one drop of lemon essential oil in two ounces of water. Apply with a cotton swab. Do not expose your skin to the sun for six hours after using this astringent.
Peach: Cut a slice of fresh peach and rub your face with it. Leave the juice on for 20 minutes and rinse with luke warm water. This peach natural astringent will help you maintain the skin firm and toned.
Vinegar, water, and aspirin: Mix 1/8 cup of vinegar, hot water (but not hot enough to burn yourself!), and an aspirin. Damp your face with the solution and let it dry.
