HOME REMEDIES FOR ACNE

Keep the affected area clean: In 125ml water put 1 teaspoon of Epsom salts and three drops of iodine. Bring to a boil, let it cool, and apply with a cotton ball. For men, always clean the blade with phenol after shaving.
Toothpaste to get rid of pimples: Dab some toothpaste with a Q-tip on the pimple before going to bed. Wash the next day.
Bread and milk to combat acne: Soak a piece of bread in milk. Apply it to the pimple and leave on for 30 minutes.
Sea salt: Make a paste using water and coarse-grained sea salt. Apply to the pimple twice a day.
Urine to combat acne: A very peculiar remedy that has been used for many years to combat acne is the urine. Some say you are suppossed to use baby urine, but your own urine is fine. Wet a gauze with urine and apply to the affected zone. After a few hours, wash face with luke warm water.
Sulfur soap: Wash your face once a day with sulfur soap.
Anti-pimple steam: Boil chamomile and mint leaves in a pot. When it starts steaming put your face close to the vapor. Be careful not to burn yourself. Grab a towel and cover your head so that the steam doesn’t escape to the sides.
Brewers yeast: To prevent acne, take a tablespoon of brewer’s yeast with meals every day. You can also mix it with milk to form a paste and apply as a mask.
Garlic to get rid of pimples: Cut a garlic clove in half and gently rub it on the affected area before bedtime.
Acupressure to combat pimples and blackheads: To fight acne on the forehead, massage the point Bai Yang. This point is located one inch above the eyebrow in the direction of the pupil directly. To combat the acne on the cheeks, press the point Quan Liao. This acupressure point is 3 inches away from the nostril, just below the cheekbone.
